I feel most alive when I’m outside. Add a cliff, some waves or a mountain and a touch of wind and you’ve got yourself a winner. I first started experimenting with action sports photography during a snowboarding weekend in the Alps. The weather was just picture perfect and I wanted to remember that thrill of riding down that fresh, powdery snow with my friends. To me, sports photography is all about capturing the raw wild moments that occur in some of the most breath-taking environments around the world.
I’ve been part of the photography crew on many trips to the Alps, but also domestically in the Rockies and even in Japan.
Most of my surfing portfolio is from Florida, The Golden Coast, and Hawaii, with a few expectations from Australia.
There’s no sport quite as fun and carefree as BMX. Most of my BMX snaps are from San Francisco’s annual BMX state championships.
To skateboard well requires talent, patience and practice. I frequently take photos for the San Francisco Skateboard club.
